Purchase the gift cards at face value (i.e. pay $50 for a $50 gift card) and the vendor credits your OSS account with percentage of the gift card value (ranging from 2.5% to 14%). Over time those credits add up and families who start early can earn enough to cover the entire cost of their student's OSS fee.
