Open PTO Positions

As we return to a full and active year of PTO events and fundraisers, we are seeking volunteers to fill the following open positions.

Spring Fundraiser - Cougar Trek

Time Commitment:

Once a year plus planning & follow up (January-March)

Cougar Trek is our largest fundraiser of the year! Loma Vista families, with the help of a very user-friendly online platform, reach out to friends and family to raise money sponsoring students for their cougar trek run. The Coordinators oversee the whole event from using our online platform to coordinate emails and track fundraising, setting up prizes and incentives for fundraising goals, and coordinating the day-of cougar trek. This is a great job for 2-3 parents to take on together and is integral to meeting our fundraising goals!

Sponsorships

Time Commitment:

Beginning of the school year

Sponsorship Coordinator works with community based businesses who would like to support our school in exchange for advertising opportunities throughout the year in PTO Newsletters, handouts, at school events, etc.

Volleyball Coach

Time Commitment:

2 months per season, 1-3 days after school

We are looking for a parent(s) to coach our girls and/or boys volleyball team. Keep this tradition alive at our school by volunteering to coach our Cougars!

ELAC Coordinator

Time Commitment:

4 meetings, approx. 30 min each

The English Language Advisory Committee (ELAC) is responsible for advising the principal and staff on programs and services for English learnings, and the School Site Council on the development of the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA).

Walk to School Day Coordinator

Time Commitment:

1 morning (day of event) plus planning (varies)

Plan and promote our annual Walk to School Day, as well as organize  greeting points for kids as they walk to school that morning!
